Recently, Koch’s Hardware expanded with a new 9,960 square-foot garden center designed and engineered* by Prospiant and constructed with materials provided by Prospiant. Its previous seasonal garden center limited what it could sell outside during the year. Now Koch’s can sell plants and merchandise year-round, for all seasons and all holidays in a beautiful climate-controlled space.
The Garden Center features two 41’6” × 120’ gutter-connected Vail greenhouses. The 12-foot under-gutter height provides an ideal height for hanging basket displays and a natural ventilation strategy.
A clear tempered glass front, decorative stone knee wall, and powder-coated steel add to the garden center’s attractive exterior with welcoming curb appeal. Atrium roof vents and EDDG sidewall vents naturally circulate fresh air, keeping the greenhouses cool and comfortable for shoppers.
